The rig in the video running 80+ is a modified 200 SHO. You can make a 200SHO a 250 for $1000

The motor is 100% box stock, If it was flashed i would run that boat closer to 90 if not over 90. This boat has a crazy amount of setup time. I probably burnt 3 tanks of fuel so far just testing. It was actually pretty fast right from the dealer, I ran it last fall to 76.X with zero setup time. I think he was just lucky and got a strong runner. We gained about 4mph with setup and prop over how it came from the dealer.

We are not done testing, we are going to Tennessee mount the trolling motor and move some stuff around for less wind drag.

There still some speed left in this rig IMO.

    Tdt91-
And you know this how? Some people are dedicated to getting everything they can out of a boat and this here is proof. If that's not enough check out his bullet fishing at over 100 mph with a tourney load. Not many Bullets doing what his can. He can obviously setup a boat very well!

My 2006 294 Pro XL does 71.8 with a 200 SHO three batteries, less than half a tank of gas and all my fishin gear with me driving. The motor is turning 5800 RPMs. Boat/motor set up seems perfect but I don't envision getting much more out of it ever. The original motor was an E-Tec and it would nearly touch 73. I'm happy with that performance. Unless I'm running on something like Table Rock there aren't many that can catch me with the hull shot I have and that get up the SHO has.

No disrespect here to anyone.....but what you guys are saying is you run 10-12 mph slower than the other guy with the exact same setup?

Unless the 2017 is that much faster than my 2006, I've never seen those speeds with two different motors. Not that I'm complaining because there aren't a lot of boats that can run 72 with a tournament load it's just I'm not seeing 75+.
