    Best Course you ever played?

    Or maybe best few courses?

For me it is (in no particular order) Bonita Bay in FL; Medinah and Olympia Field in Chicago, and Kansas City Country Club in KCK.

The only known course so far would be Vaquero. Playing Edgewood next week while we are in Tahoe.

The Emirates golf club in Dubai. The creek golf and yacht club in Dubai. The old course at ST Andrews. It wasn't the best as far as course condition goes but it was an awesome round walking where the game began.

On our 15th wedding anniversary many years ago we golfed a few courses in Scotland and wish I could remember names...one might have been the old course....I know one was Dunbar. Was truly an amazing vacation with lots of history on golf. Stayed overnight in a castle....gosh memories....thanks.

I always wondered about that especially (I've read) every Sunday it's used for picnics and you can walk your dog around the course.
It doesnt look like anything special condition wise on tv just didn't know what it looked like on tv was what it looked like in person. It's one course more than any other I would love to play.

Wow that's a tuffy. But here's a few in no particular order.
    1. Augusta National 2 weeks after the Masters - Friend, who since passed away, had a member invite us out to play. Magnificent!
    2. St Andrews Old Course
    3. Turnberry
    4. Pebble Beach
    5. Spyglass Hills
    6. Desert Mountain Outlaw - Slope is 147
    7. Bandon Dunes
    8. Troon North Az

There are others, but these really stuck out in my mind.

There were several people walking their dogs on the course while we were playing. The course has poop station bags throughout for the pet owners to pick up after their pets. On some holes it was hard to tell where the fairway ends and the green begins. Many times when I was 30 to 40 yards out from the pen the caddie would hand me my putter. Those are putts I never have playing here. There were several visitors following us around the course. Didn't bother me at all to have people see my lack of some skills. lol.

I don't play many nice courses, but went on a golf trip to Lake of the Ozarks and played Old Kinderhook and Osage National. Both of which were much nicer than I normally play.

So far St Andrews but I'm planning a trip to Pebble in September.

I had opportunity to play Augusta back in 1998. I played golf with a college basketball coaches son everyday. He told me to name the day and we could get on. He left to go to another school two months later and I have been crying ever since. Another guy I played a lot with played it 5+ times.
I don't know where we are, but we are making darn good time.
