    Stroker Cover

Looking to get a cover for my Stroker as my son is doing the school fishing team this year. I'm looking to get one that has ratchet straps in the back to secure it instead of all the straps that go to the trailer. Does anyone offer one of this type for a stroker?

His had straps to the trailer though and I'm not looking for that style. I'll call Aurora and see what they offer

Mine came from Dean's. It has a rope with a ratchet and hook as well as the straps. All the other covers I have owned were the same style, haven't seen one with out the straps.

I'm not a fan of the straps either, it's a ratchet type cover. When I ordered it I thought since it was ratchet type there wouldn't be any straps. I was wrong, the reason I don't like them it seems it scratches the trailer. I bought some tubing so it won't scratch. They offer a strapless cover I seen one on a bass cat. I wish I would of specified that when I ordered it.

When I saw that I thought that's what there ratchet type looks like. I was wrong but I'm happy with the cover. I got the Coast guard marine acrylic, it's the best material they carry.

No help to the original question, but +1 on not wanting straps. The Triton boat (forget who made the cover) had the 2 rachet style and it was easy, fast and secure. The Stroker cover (Deans) has 4 ba-jillion straps going around it, and yes it is secure but definitely not easy or fast.

I don't travel with my cover on. When I stop for the nite I will put it on with just the rope going around the base of the cover. Just leave the straps not attached unless it raining. That cover on the bass cat looks very sharp and easy.
