    hot foot on a coral

anyone ever installed a hot foot on their coral with a quicksilver 3000 control box.Kinda looked at it and am trying to figure out how to get to the rear of the box to disconnect the cable to run a new one.

I know you already figured it out, but I'd just leave the old cable connected to the control box, remove it at the motor and stash it in the bilge. That way, if your hotfoot cable ever breaks, you can hook up the old cable and continue to use the boat while waiting for a new cable to arrive.

Always good to have a backup plan!
