    Upper Hudson 6/3

    Fished the river section of Hudson Friday/Saturday. On Friday, we launched at teh state park just below Pensacola dam and headed up and tied off the cable. Caught several nice cats by casting cut shad up to the base of the dam.



    Went back out on Saturday to bass fish, couldn't find any largies in the coves or main river so we headed back up to teh dam. Found a gravel bar below the dam and started smackin the whitey's. We caught over 90 white bass, all we're caught on top water using a whopper plopper. Kept enough for a few fish fry's and released teh rest.
