    Took a young man fishing today

    Today I fished my first Rodehaver Boys Ranch kids fishing tournament, and I haven’t smiled this much fishing in a very long time. It’s not that I don’t enjoy my fishing I truly do it is my escape, but today It was all about the kids. I was paired with Noel, he is 11 years old and a non-stop question machine, and he had a blast. We fished lures and he has a little work to do in getting the hook set done, but he gets it. If you have the time and room in your heart, get out there next year and fish with these kids. It absolutely makes their day and it just might make yours and give you a chance to re-cage your priorities. Noel, thank you for reminding me of what it really is all about.

    Very cool! Im going to inquire about something like there around me, would be very cool to get people, esp kids, who have a passion for fishing on the water who otherwise couldnt. Thanks for posting up man!

    I think you did a Great job it was very well organized and I had a blast. I am looking forward to fishing it next year if Uncle Sugar does not have other plans for me. I had a great time and the smiles on the kids faces made it all worthwhile....
