    Sangchris Lake

Anybody have any info on this lake. Not looking for waypoints or nothing just some general info. I just read it's a 25hp lake. Thinking about going there Sunday and have never been there before.
Is it worth the trip, or should I go to Jacksonville.
I don't have a small motor so will be trolling only for me, is it worth the headache?
if you think I should go there instead of Jacksonville, where should I launch.
    I appreciate any info guys.

I use to fish the HUGH Pads in the fall. I always liked that Lake, it always had a good color to the water.ILbassin > Where would you stay (Motel) and any good breakfast places close to the Motel ?? Does the campground have electricity and showers and can you have a few beers around the Fire in the campground ? Thanks to anyone who can help me out with my questions ?

I haven't been there in many years . Someone told me a while back that the pads are gone . Is this true ? If it is how has the fishing ? The shallow weeds in the lake I fish are disappearing and I think the fishing is going down hill with it .

There are tons of hotels around springfield within 30 miles that will accommodate your truck/boat space wise but really no boater friendly places like you'll see around bigger lakes with outside outlets. Might check at Litchfield as its closer to Lake Lou Yaeger and may be more boater friendly. I'd call some hotels off Dirksen parkway in springfield though and they'll tell ya for sure.

Fishing this year has been great there as tournaments have been consistently producing good sized fish. There are no lilies anymore, but fish there are sitting deep right now anyways with water temps around 75 degrees.
