1998 mercury 175 efi issues
Runs great when u first put in in the water.when i get to my first stop and shut moto down. It wont start back up with out giving it some gas with the hot foot. At that point it will start but wont idle. You have to leave foot on gas alittle to get it in gear with out shuting off. It runs rough until u get over 2000 rpm it will always plain fine and runs great when going. I have replaced fuel lines, primer blub, check fuel pump, replaced spark plugs twice, changed fuel filter, butt new starting battery in someone seggested that i try that. If any one has any advise i would appreciate it. On muffs the idle sits at about 1000 rpm and on the water it sits at about 750rpm. The motor always runs like its brand new when i fist put it in.
