Wireless Foot Switch

Last weekend my down foot switch just stopped working but the other one still works. Any ideas or solutions? Thinking I just need to reprogram.

If its a powerpole foot switch you might want to open it up and check the battery connection. Have had 2 that the connection has broken on where the holder is soldered to the board

My up switch just stopped working. I haven't checked it out yet but I just figured the battery went bad or something. They are only like 2 months old. But maybe there is more to it. Did you ever figure out why it stopped working. I know on mine it doesn't even light up or anything.

Call Power Pole they will be under warranty they will send you out a new set.

I plan too. I just noticed it this weekend. I haven't investigated yet. I figured if it was just a battery it would be on me to get a new one. Ill give them a call. Thanks

doubt its a battery, however wouldnt hurt to try that first!

Battery hold down solder connections more than likely. They are having an issue with them

I had a up switch not working a couple weeks ago. Opened it up and found the solder connections on the battery cage not connected on one side, started to just add solder but thought better of it. Called powerpole and got a new switch right in the mail.

I got my replacement switches from PP. Decided to crack open the old one and found the soldered connections that attach the battery to the board broke as well. I wonder if my new switches have been updated to address this or if they just sending out the same ones that are prone to breaking. 20170613_075144.jpg

they have addressed the issue and had a remold done on the case as the beard was not fitting corectly, it is why the foot switches were out of stock for about a month.
The issue has been corrected and is no longer a problem.

Ran into this exact problem with my battery cage on my 2.0 foot switch. power pole has already responded and i have a new set heading my way. Very fast response from power pole.

Well, it was only a matter of time. In June the Up footswitch had solder connections broken. Now the Down footswitch has the same problem. Last time powerpole just sent me a new Up switch so the down switch was from the original set. Just spoke to them and this time they're putting a full set of new ones in the mail to me.

NO better customer servioce then Power Pole. There was an issue with some of the early 2.0 foot switches, they stopped production retooled and took care of the issue so there would be no further problems.
