    Fill a few Dixie cups and freeze them or a couple Gatorade bottles. It helps a lot, here in the Texas heat.

    That's what I was thinking about doing but didn't take into consideration it getting dirty and needing to be replaced. Thanks.

    Try these with ice on top. You will be surprised how good they are. Stand em up, or lay them down then lay cans on them, then add blue ice 6 packs on top of cans.
    I fish short tourneys with no ice, just these.

    I use mine as storage and have Brute ice chest that fits between the rod lockers. There is only about an inch difference from the deck to the ice chest and it's sturdy enough to hold my fat A$$ when I step or stand on it
