Power-Pole Drive Off

2015 8 ft Power-Pole Blades
In one of my dumber moves of late, I forgot to raise my poles and took off......
Totally broke-off the starboard "lower/bottom" arm. The plastic bracket sheared off..... still have half of it bolted on to upper arm.
Nothing else seems bent, the hydraulics still work fine on each PP.

I guess this is under warranty, although I can't call until tomorrow.
Does not look like the install is more than bolting on the replacement.
Any install or inspection tips I should be aware of ?

Are you referring to the spike? Black plastic with the white pole.
If that is all that's broken it about a 3 to 5 minute job

No ...... the entire assembly that holds the spike is broken off at the "elbow" ( lower arm )

I can't find a "parts list", but looking at this picture, I lost the following:

1) High Strength Light Weight Knuckle split in two ( thru-bolts remain )
2) Flex Stabilizer
3) Everflex Spike

The knuckle is very easy to replace but you will need a spreader tool
They will probably send you a tool also, it's easier with 2 tools
You may need the bushings for the knuckle also
They will hook you up, the customer service is awesome at JLMarine

Wow, I drive off with my Sportsman2 down just about once or twice every fishing trip. Never an issue, even ran across a shallow part of Kentucky Lake with it dragging the bottom at 50mph. Heard a noise then put it up.

Yes the parts are fully under warranty, even though the damage was self-inflicted.
New Spike+Flex Shaft+Knuckle+New Bolts+Spreader Tool are being shipped out today ...... no charge for parts or freight.
He did say if I did this "more than a few times" ...... they might have something to say.
