    Hammer 7'11'' flipping stick

Has anyone used this rod yet? Any reviews? Looking for a new flipping stick. 3/8-1oz is what ill mostly flip into grass or lilies.

I own and have fished that stick exclusively for a year and a half at Lake O. It has performed great and has everything I was looking for. The rod is very light but as most 7'11" Heavy flipping rods is a tad bit tip heavy, I added a barstool rubber cap with two quarters and it balances out the stick nicely. The sensitivity of this rod is very, very good. My only wish is that they where made with tangle free frames, however in my experience even tangle free micro guides get tangled.

That being said this is a very powerful rod and imo not the rod to use if flipping anything under 3/4oz, their 7'11" H rod would fit that bill better.
