    California law question

I've read California has outlawed lead in all forms of ammo, does it also include all lead for fishing?

They need to ban car batteries too. That's the logical conclusion to the lead solution, remove it in any form when found.

It is slowly phasing in but basically correct. No lead ammo allowed for any game animal including birds. My dad hunted turkey this year with steel. Nothing about fishing tackle yet but it can't be too far away.

In a few years I wouldn't be surprised to see 100% lead free ammo in every state. I think the ammo manufacturers are currently making strides in the lead free ammo line, the accuracy is improving and the costs are becoming more in line with traditional lead ammo.
