    New seats and coin box

I had not seen this coin box before and thought I was getting the one that I had seen on here a number of times. Of course I did not ask when I called in to Ranger if there were different options, I was just concerned about the unit being relatively water resistant. The other thing that is a little bit odd, or maybe just something for me to pick about is the seats and coin box are all separate instead of tied together like the old set. So when I go to install them, I set the coin box in the center of the boat, and the space for the drivers seat is 1" bigger than the passenger side. So I had to cheat the coin box over so I could get the seats actually in place. I like my stuff centered and equal. And the top of the coin box has a tiny little chip right in the middle of the top about the size of this "o".

Now as far as the color of the fiberglass and color of the seats......just incredible. Perfect match. I'm amazed how they can do this. I do like the coin box, I was just expecting the other style that opens like the other compartments on the boat, not one that has a hold down style latch in the front. I do like the cup holders and the used bait holder in the middle......lol.....I'm always tossing used plastic baits in a pile somewhere, and they always seem to be in the way. Now I got a "holder" for them that will work perfect.

Overall I'm very pleased, I just wasn't quite ready for the different box and the fact that it came in three pieces since it was in one huge box as if they were one piece. They were very well packaged, so I think the tiny chip was done at the factory before it left. I have a fix for the chip that I feel will be fine and you will never see it when I'm done. Here is the pick of the final install. No instructions, I just did the best I could.

I was just going to get the coin box and keep my original seats, but they old seats are "fatter" and would not work with the new coin box, and since I had minor seat separation in the front center of the seats due to the way the seats were stitched, I just bit the bullet and ordered seats as well. But I'll see if I can find the part number on my invoice in a little bit and post it.
