Curado 70xg- anyone lost reel handle grip endcaps?

I have 2 reels that have chrome endcaps missing. I guess they are mainly cosmetic. Can they be purchased separately without purchasing the entire reel handle assy?

I just got a 70 and took the caps off to add bearings to the knobs, I noticed that they came off too easy and figured this would be an issue down the road.

I haven't lost any yet but , if I do I'll go with a aftermarket handle.

I lost one on my Aldebaran a while back while fishing but luckily someone on this board was selling 2 knobs at that time and it came with the end caps as well. They come off fairly easy.

Shimano does not have just the end cap. The sent me new complete handles. That was just about a month ago. Give Shimano a call. Great customer service.

I called and ordered caps for one of my MGL reels, I would assume same size? I'll check when I get home, but they are available.

with shimano you call , they don't answer emails.

Called today, have an end cap on the way no charge. He was just going to remove one from a handle there and mail it to me. It didn't sound like a part you could order by itself, although it should be.

I have had them fall off too been lucky and found them on the deck.

Maybe they making this a separate part now. The ones they sent me came in its own bag labeled with part #BNT5088 HANDLE KNOB SEAL-ALD
