181 vs186 vs 188

how do these boats compare in deck size and storage. I sold my 20ft javelin and looking for an 18 ft champ id love the 188 but they are hard to find so would like to know how the other two compare.

If u could 07 08 in 183 or188 got wide front and back deck u would love it✌️

188 will fish much bigger that either the 181/186. the 181/186 fish pretty much the same. Limited back storage, fun to drive and if you fish solo they work, but a 188 would be a much better rig.

And then there is the 187. I would only be a buyer for that model if it had the 175.

I had a 187 with a 150 Opti. It performed just fine. 62 with me alone with my gear, and 58 or so with me and partner and our gear. A really fun rig!

188 will fish much bigger that either the 181/186........ but a 188 would be a much better rig.

I'm biased but I love my 188. Fishes like a 20 footer and pretty nimble too.

thanks for the replys im keeping an eye out for a clean 188 I want something small enough to get in an around docks easily but still be have a good amount of room. and handle moderate water good

In the latest years, it was called the 190. Totally different from the original 190. I need to check on which year the "name" changed. Late in life, for sure!
