Advise on vmax sho prop on a 225 sho .

Bought the motor new and prop new 6 yrs ago. Over the last couple yrs ive notice some loss in performance. Is it uncommon for these props to lose there cup ? I'm running 72 at 6000 rpms and its a struggle to achieve that. Iwill bu a new prop if its recommended to do so. Thanx

Props wear over time, but you can have it repaired. Much cheaper

Check the barrel for cracks... Not saying they are there but if you're losing performance I'd check...

Yeah, they can wear down over time. It just needs a little TLC. I send mine to Mark C.
