    Homemade bow mount panel for solix 12

    So, really happy with the precision mount at the console, product is amazing, but wanted the bow graph lower than it would sit on the bow plate. Basically a piece of starboard with cut outs for the arms and wires, and the gimbal mount bolted to the underside of that with two 3/4 backing plates. It's actually rock solid and sits at the perfect height.

    Structurally it's not the most stout stuff, but with a backer like the OP mentioned will work fine and his setup looks decent.

    Also it's probably pretty low cost compared too, Cap.


    Delrin or canvas phenolic is a lot harder, but not as easy to work with or near as inexpensive....
