    I second the "Yes."

    I've got a Racor S3213 with a clear bowl on the bottom of the filter.

    I believe it is not recommended by Mercury to add any secondary filters in the fuel system the engine is already equipped with a VST sysyem additional filters can cause fuel flow restriction which can cause performance issues.

    Don, does my engine need or not need this separator? 2008 Merc Opti, 1B529912... I will be ordering new plugs and thermostats from you this week. Thanks!
