Thumbs Up Cheap Trigger Upgrade for AR15

My stock trigger on my AR15 was gritty and pulled a 6.5 pounds.
I did not want a competition trigger or want to spend over $150
    for a trigger kit.
I ordered a Toms Tactical Enhansed Nickel Teflon Trigger group
and a set of JP 3 1/2lb trigger springs group. It was a quick install
and what a difference. Out of 200 rounds I did not have any mis-fires
due to the light springs. The trigger pull is now 4.6
    lbs and smoooooth.
The Trigger kit was $38 and the JP Springs were $12. You just can't
beat that upgrade for $50 and 15 minutes install.

I've dropped a lot of ALG-ACT and BCM-PNT triggers in for other guys. Those have always been a very good upgrade for most guys using them. That was a good price for what you got. The only issues I have ever heard of was light primer strikes using some of the JP springs. If you have had no misfires that's good.

I only use Federal American Eagle XM193, 5.56x45mm, FMJ, 55 Grain, as I got a great deal on 1000 rounds so I bought 2000 rounds. I have a ALG-ACT in my other AR-15 and it is really nice, too. I put
a LaRue on another AR as I wanted a 2 stage trigger on that rifle. That LaRue is SWEET. I never had any problems with light strikes with any of them with my XM 193 ammo.
I shoot just for fun and I enjoy working on all my arsenal. Keeps me busy and out of trouble :)
