    Lakes near Duncan ?

Are there any good lakes near Duncan and any fishing reports would be appreciated. My wife was adopted as a baby and just found out she has a sister down there and we are going down to meet her.

Lawtonka/Elmer Thomas is relatively close and pretty good fishin and Arbuckle isn't too far and can be great at times.

I have not been on any of them in a number of years but Duncan has four "city" lakes that used to be pretty good. They are Fuqua, Humphrey's, Duncan Lake, and Clear Creek. Fuqua and Humphrey's are both former state record holders. Had Florida strain lmb stocked at one time but don't know how they're fishing these days.

If you're in Duncan, Fuqua would probably be the lake I would hit first. It used to be a big bass haven but they killed off the grass some years back and I'm not sure what goes on there now. If they're not biting there you can always work your way back to Duncan by fishing Humphreys and Clear Creek.
    Don't worry Ma'am....
    I'm only here for the
    Bass.
