Thumbs Up Sign up to fish the NoAl "Tennessee River Trailer Tournament" on June 17th......

The NoAl "Tennessee River Trailer Tournament" will be held on the 17th of June out of McFarland Park. Registration will begin at 4:00 am at the ramp on the north end of Florence Harbor by the ball field, then the participants may trailer to the ramp of their choice on Guntersville, Wheeler, Wilson or Pickwick with "ease off" at first light. Weigh in will be at McFarland Park at 1:00 pm with an old fashioned cookout afterward. Spouses, children and guests are invited and encouraged to attend. Please give me a total number of guests you'll be expecting when you sign up so we'll have an idea of how much food we need to prepare.

As in the past, we'll plan to have everything set up by the picnic tables at the west end of the parking lot near the main ramp. We should have plenty of tables but I'm not sure about seating so you might want to bring a lawn chair just in case.

To get there, drive down the main road into the park and go past the entrance to the main boat ramp. Just past the ramp entrance is a "left turn only" lane which is the second paved road past the ramp entrance. Turn left and follow the road past the bathrooms and into the parking lot. We'll be set up at the far end of the parking lot.

    Confirmed Participants

    Avery Faile (+3) & David Scogin (? +1)
    Miles Hutton (+4)
Andrew Inmon (+3) (can't fish but hopefully able to join us for lunch! )
    Andrew & Shelby
    Harry & Linda Speegle
    Hunter Roberts & Ramsey
John Scogin (+1) & partner TBD
    Paul Garrison & Jimmy C. (+2)
    Ben Smith & Caleb Swaim
    Hudean & Janice Wilson
    Terry Burleson & Chris Mayfield
    Jimmy Carruth
Tommy Baker & Caleb Baker (+2)
    Josh & Tiffany Baker

Probably not much other than a hearty appetite but that may change as we get closer. Thanks for the offer!!

You just need to have made 10 posts in any forum (other than the "Swap & Sell" or "Daily Funnies") and be a BBC member for a minimum of 30 days prior to the event. That's all! Oh, and ONLY ONE team member has to meet this requirement so you can fish with Andrew Inman from day one if that's an option.

Avery put me and Jimmy C. down with 2 guests right now this may change to just me and him. and just a question since the size change on Pickwick are we going with the pool size limit the fish come off of or 15" over all? just wondering.

We're going to have to go with the most stringent size limit for the lakes we're allowed to fish which is 15" for largemouth and smallmouth. Usually we stick with the club's 12" rule for spotted bass if there's no lake limit for them so we'll probably stick with that unless someone can come up with a reason that we should go with 15" across the board - mostly so David and i will hopefully at least have SOMETHING to weigh in!!
