    GOOD NEWS BAD NEWS

Went for tendon relocation in my left thumb today. operation went great. Bad news is: Can't fish for 4-6 weeks, tie shoes, open bottles, and anything else where left hand is needed. Plus, it slowed my 2nd grade typing speed to pre-k.

When I had my wrist done I could not use it for 6 weeks . When I wore pants that needed to be buttoned I would put my left pocket on a door knob and twist so I could get my pants buttoned .

It's common for mechanics, glass installers and a lot of other trades. My ring finger had two tendons and he cut one and rerouted it. House cat needed to go to vet. In the fight to put her in carrier she bit and clawed me bad.
