Tempest plus what series is this prop

Hi i have this 25 p tempest plus and want to know what series it is A46 or A47 before i send it in to get work done ,it is 5 ears old ,48-825866 25p it has the flo torque hob and the pvs holes ,thanks

If it's only five years old it should be an A47

If it says Termpest "PLUS" It is not an A45...

A Tempest + has three round adjustable vent holes,a Tempest A45 has three square non-adjustable holes. I have an A45 that is about a7.5/10 and it is still pretty fast.

Agree, my A45 in the picture is not a plus but had the torq flo hub and had the square non pvs vents till Mark did his magic. Its also about 15.125" Mark has only seen 3 of them he told me.

It could be an A46. They only made them for a year or two and they are slow as hell but it's not thin enough to be an A45

the over 15" diameter is what he has only seen a few of. Tempest are normally 14 5/8"

so the a 46 do not have the pvs holes and the a47 props do,dont want to send this prop to mark if it is a a46 thanks

My A45 does have the changeable flow torq hub, but did not have the adjustable PVS vent holes, it had the slotted ones that Mark has drilled to the PVS vent style and I use the Black PVS vent plugs. if that helps

If that tempest prop you have was built after 2000 it's an A47 model tempest plus and they don't make an A48 that number is just a part number on the blade. Like I said they only made an A46 for a year or two 1999-2000 and they where so slow they changed to the new A47. The A46 models where stamped A46.

Are all A45's 15.125" Dia. or are those rare 3 custom?
