    Bad Depth readings

We've used our new Helix g2 three times now and every time we leave the dock we get readings anywhere from 800-1600 feet even though were only in about 4 feet of water.
this continues until we get out into about 15 feet of water and then it's fine.
Is there something we're doing wrong?
We have both the HS skimmer and Mega Si transducers installed.
It starts doing it again when we get into shallow water again.

In shallow water use Switchfire CLEAR and reduce the SENSITIVITY.

Okay so we went out again today and still have bad depth readings in water under 8 feet. we changed the settings as advised and it makes no difference.
    We're getting bit frustrated.

i had the same problem, tried every setting change possible. Checked the transducer and it wasn't level with the boat, it wasn't off by much. Now it works without any problems.
