Thumbs Up Wife Starts Her New Career Today

My wife after all these years is getting out of retail. She starts her new career with PNC Bank today.
It will be the first time in our 12 years together that we will be on the same work schedule.

She will have weekends off to boot, so I should be able to go fishing more. Granted pond/creek/out of the back of someone else's boat since I don't own a boat, but fishing is fishing

If your schedules are just now lining up, when not start off spending more time with her, instead of gone fishing more?

We will have Monday-Friday evenings together which rarely happened with our schedules prior, so that alone will be more time than we ever had before. She has worked practically every weekend this year so far.

I did say "should" be able to go fishing more, not that I was going to be gone every weekend

Brad, you're nicer than I would have been in your explanation.

My wife works retail and it's tough. After 17 years she has just now got a job where she has every other weekend off and only works late one night a week. The pay is good though so she can't afford to walk away from it.

Congratulations on the new job. As for retail, the sad part is that Sunday has become just another work day.

Congrats on the wife's new job. And more time to fish is always a good thing.
