On Saturday during our Shaw Bassers club tournament, I netted a new personal best. This one weighed in at 10.75. I only managed four but they weighed a total of 21.30. I caught it off the end of a dock in about 12 foot of water on a submerged tree. I used a Zoom Magnum Trick Worm, texas rigged with a 3/8oz tungsten weight and 4/0 Trokar Wide Gap Worm Hook. This fish bested my previous record by more than 3.5 lbs. It was a 7lb2oz LM that also came from Monticello in January of 2016.
