    made the switch to humminbird from lowrance and need some help

    Made the switch from lowrance to helix 9 right now im not too happy...not sure if i got settings wrong or a bad transducer or what..... taking all the help i can get thanks

    Looks like you have a lot of prop wash in that shot .... and you need to post some bigger images.

    this is on a phoenix 721 factory installed unit if its prop wash any suggestions on a fix

    Be sure you have a HD transponder and it beats the one that came in the box with your Helix. I just did it this week! The best use of $200 you will ever have. Now I can see the trees etc.

    How deep were you in this shot? Change your 2d to 200/80 and you'll get arches.

    you need to play with the settings, i switched from lowrance too and was skeptical because the picture didn't seem as good. but once you dial them in, they're good if not better!
