    Question Kentucky Lake lodging

Hey guys need some info on lodging near Paris Landing next month for the BASS HS Nationals. We just finished our state tournament today and it's gonna be a quick turnaround for the week of June 18-25th so any help will be greatly appreciated.
    THANKS

Fishtale Lodge is right up the road and my favorite or you can stay at the State Park.

My favorite spot is the Barkley State Lodge. It's nice, clean and a good restaurant on site.

I think you'll like it. I live a couple miles from it and it seems to be the tournament fisherman so choice around here. You can park your boat right in front of your room and your close to Paris Landing Marina.

How large is this tournament? I was planning on being near Paris that weekend and don't want to be fighting to find a spot to fish.

I believe they are expecting around 350-400 boats.

Not trying to be a d**k but Barkley State Lodge must be over 1 hour drive to Paris, TN.

In my opinion it is still the best place to stay in the area, but with the new owners and the addition of the bar/restaurant it is not quite the "fishing lodge" it used to be.

    I don't think it'll be 300-400 boats. I hope not.
The teams that went last year said it was around 180.
And i haven't picked a spot yet. Waiting to see if the other team is going stay with us or do they're own thing.
I'm also checking out cabins for a big group if they do

Not to be a Debbie downer, but secure your gear at night. A couple of years ago a friend stayed in Aurora and had the straps of his Ranger cover cut and all of his tackle taken from his boat which was parked right outside his door at FinNfeather. Due diligence is required these days

It's sad but that's pretty much the rule anywhere you stay these days. I usually take everything into the room or lock it in the vehicle with the alarm

Thanks guys. With us and another team and families we had to find a cabin and I lucked up and found one at Leatherwood Resort down the lake. On google earth it's not too far it looks like. Anybody have a guess how long it would take?
