    You may want to install a transducer shield around it so that you won't break it. After breaking two HD transducers in the stump fields, I use transducer shields on all transducers that I install.

    Looks good, I noticed the plate you have is aluminum and installed inside JP which brings transducer up higher. Might have to
    change mine.

    +1 on the Transduer Shield. Its the only way to go for me
