    89 SF 175 / jack plate

I picked up a 89 SF 175 with the matching Yamaha Pro V 150 this week. The boat has no jackplate and I am planning to add one. Does anyone know what set back I should be looking at 6, 8, 10?

the boat is all original and has been sitting in a garage for the last couple of years. We replaced the battery today and was able to get the motor running. Next I plan to pull the carbs and give them a good cleaning along with replace all the fuel lines. I currently am running an older stratos with a mariner 150 and a 6 inch jackplate. This boats runs 55 loaded or empty. What kind of speeds can I expect out of the skeeter?
