What does the warranty say regarding delamination.

That is osmosis blistering caused by sitting on wet carpet bunks. Repairs cost around 3k dollars and insurance doesn't cover it nor mfg. Gatorbaks will prevent them for those who don't have them yet.

Ah. Uh. Id be calling warranty. Make sure your internal structure is ok. Does the boat feel like a wet noodle?

it's not delamination or structural and warranty won't cover it. I do warranty repairs for Nitro and most mfgr's. I see them on all brands and most don't even know they have them. Over half the boats that are over 3 years old have them to some degree. Over time they get bigger and bigger till they start popping like the OP's boat and will get larger as the water pressure from running keeps eating away at the edges. It's a 3-4k dollar repair depending on where you take it.

It's not a crock and it isn't just Nitro that will not warranty that. As stated above, it happens to many boats that sit on wet bunks for long periods of time. I browse almost all of the boat boards here and have seen hull blisters discussed in every one of them.

I don't know a boat company that covers it. It happens more then u think.

Once this happens have them epoxy the bottom of your hull for likely less then the costs of the repair. Toledo Fiberglass calls it the gorilla hull.

Nitro warranty does not cover it and I now have Gatorbaks. Been making my own repairs to see how it holds up. Fish around 150 days a year with it garaged with a fan and never dries. Gel Coat is really thin, no structural just cosmetic so far.
