I Pilot link not connecting

I have 2 Helix 10's both G2N models with current software. I have current software on the Ultrex I Pilot link also. When I power on the Helix's I get a pop up that says I Pilot connected not I Pilot link just I Pilot. I have a Lakemaster version 3.0 compatible with I Pilot link according to the box. I cannot get the follow the contour to come up when trying it out. I have not tried it on the water yet only while boat is on trailer. I do not know if I'm doing something wrong or is it because IPilot link is not connected? Thanks

Probably gonna have to test on the water. You can't follow a contour or go to a way point if it's over 1/4 mile from your current location
