Just wondering if anyone has a picture of a Grab pole mounted on the trailer. Does the pole need to be ordered with the boat or is there a model that can be purchased at a later time and bolted on. Thank you

You can order it later and it is a bolt on unit. Might as well get it on the boat when you order it. I don't have a picture of mine.

Of course I talk to myself...sometimes I need expert advice.
Im not ordering a new boat, Im looking to purchase a used one. Im asking to see if I can add one at a later time because the boat Im looking at doesnt have a grab pole. I would like to see how they're mounted. Thanks
From my 2013 Cougar trailer. Welded in 2 places.
Macsimus, I just sent you a PM. Call me if you have time. Thanks
Anyone with pics of the post if added later on?
I had to have one added as it was forgot to be placed on my build sheet. It bolts on and it was an easy install according to the dealer.
I looked online but couldnt find the post only. Do they all come with a step? Thanks again
The grab post is an option and only the Jaguar has it standard.

I got mine as an aftermarket. Spot welded it instead of bolting.
I bought one from basscat, about 6 years ago the best upgrade for my 2007 puma
It bolts on.
but I went through a bunch of drill bits also.
Im looking for pics if you get a minute. Thanks

Thats a pretty good system but its a little too busy for what Im looking for. Thanks for letting me know.
Sorry for the angles. Had the tongue folded back, and the truck parked too close. Hope this gives you an idea. One tip: Buy some really good drill bits. Lots of really good drill bits. And keep the oiled while drilling.
The step was already factory installed. I added the pole. Comes with instructions, but you simply level the trailer tongue, unbolt the winch, set the pole in place and bolt to the winch base loosely, level the pole, and mark the holes.
Took me about 3 hours start to finish (and a few Miller Lites). I'll never own another boat without one.

Dang those trailers are nice. Thanks for the pics. Exactly what I needed.
There's no better built trailer on the market. And I've looked at a lot of trailers in the parking lot at the ramp.
Had some jackass rip the corner off my fender a few weeks ago. Moved my trailer over foot, so they knew they hit it. Of course, they didn't leave a note, so I had to file it on my insurance. The adjuster came out, took pictures, and wrote it up. The guy had already talked to BCB part and gotten a price for the fender and shipping. Even figured in $200.00 for pro installation. Said he wouldn't even discuss repairing a BCB fender. Too nice a boat to repair in his opinion. Very good man in my book.
I talked Allen in Parts the next day. He told me I would have the replacement in 3-4 weeks (it took less than 3). He even walked me through the install if I decide to do it myself (and I probably will). The whole trailer is built like a tank.

They really sound like a great crew at Bass-cat. I'm looking forward to owning one of their boats
