Am pretty sure you can't take legal action against something that is just frowned upon.

Has someone in the US been busted yet. I have friends that have been using Kodi for two years. It's not new one would think someone should have been arrested by now.

I don't know how long did it take before they took action against those that was down loading music? The point I was making is it is illegal to download copyrighted material and not just frowned upon. If they wished to pursue it legally am sure they could. Will they who knows.

Do you DVR any shows, if so then you are down loading a copyright show/movie/sporting event... there are other sites that movies are downloaded so they can sale them and then they've to upload a movie to replace the one they got..

So what you are basically saying is, you have no idea what you are talking about. No one has downloaded anything.

Your right your not downloading something you are streaming it the point is you are still accessing something that you have no legal right to view. Like I said earlier am not judging just saying if something like this were to make it to court I feel pretty sure who's side they would rule for.

I have 4 of them and no more cable bill. I can watch everything and more that I could with cable. High speed internet is definitely a must have.

Simple fact is that there is a double standard around here...If your watching a movie/content that hasn't been released to home viewing/dvd/net flix etc...it's being stolen from some source, If your okay with that, your business. But don't get on here whining about thieves.

I don't need to tell myself anything. I paid for my fire stick. It's legal. And I'd say the same thing to anyone else on their moral high horse that thought they knew everything too. They're available for purchase pretty much anywhere. It doesn't take an IT Specialist to install Kodi or any other add ons. We're just watching something that someone else is streaming. Music is played over airwaves and we listen to it on our radios. Are we thieves because we didn't buy the artist's cd? Or because we don't pay for a subscription to the radio station?

Once again, you ARE stealing if you are streaming copyrighted material. Wrapping it up in an incorrect analogy doesn't make it right.
Radio stations have procured the right to broadcast to the public. However, it can't be rebroadcast (i.e. elevators, hold music, etc.) legally.
Most of the Kodi content is hotter than the surface of the sun. New releases, HBO content, pay movies, XXX and more.
It's sold everywhere, not given away. There's a reason for it ... licensing, copyrights, etc. Artists should be paid for their work.

There's nothing 'high horse' about it. You are a thief or you aren't. Integrity doesn't choose you, you choose integrity.
