Other than the cooling water exit on the lower cowling down by the lower pivot there is water coming out while on muffs on the lower unit. Looks like a 5/16 diameter hole. Is this suppose to be there? 1996 sn# 0G298881 Thanks

Thanks, it also runs out vents on the aft side as well. I've always focused in on the upper pee exit and never noticed these other locations before.

Mercury lower units when on muffin have water exit in other locations besides the tell tail. Don't see this when in the water because of the lower unit is submerged for anyone else
