    What to use to

    remove glue from fiberglass? Velcro tape glue is some tough stuff. Need to get it off. How is the best way with out damaging the fiberglass ? Thanks for your help.

    Acetone on a rag will take it off.

    Most of the Tar and bug removers will also. Neither will damage the gelcoat as long as you do not soak a rag and leave it sit on the gel for am extended period of time.

    Xylene worked well for carpet glue.

    I will say that I would watch the goof off adhesive remover. I bought some to remove carpet glue off my rod locker lid and it removed the glue along with all the paint.. I really dont think its any different than aircraft stripper as it smells the same and stings equally as much on the skin.

    I just used acetone and it worked. Thanks for all your help.
