Have any of you guys installed a troll-tamer onto your bird? If so please show pictures as it looks like I need do some modification. Thanks

I've been looking to install one myself for a while. However, the resting position of the trolling motor will not allow the Troll Tamer to position correctly on the deck. It would end up on the gunnel.

I contacted TH Marine and they said the only option is to move the trolling motor mount. When they were being produced by RMC Boatworks , they offered a mount using the part that holds the stabilizer bar but that company seems to be out of business. I believe some have made modifications with angle iron to make it work on their Phoenix . I'm sure you can search and find it.

Same here. Left the Bounce Buster mount on TM and just screwed in the Troll Loc. Then added the lock piece to the floor...10 minutes tops!
Same on Ultrex. Just transferred The Troll Loc bar to the Bounce Buster mount and lock piece to floor. Same fit!

I got the one for the Fortrex. It fit my Ultrex on a Phoenix and screwed into Bounce Buster Bar Mount that was previously on my trolling Fortrex and Ultrex TM

#RMC-BW-104FMK...5" to 8", Is the number for a Fortrex on a Phoenix, but doesn't look like what I have.

My TROL LOK screwed directly into the bounce buster bar's mount.
It is from RMC Boatworks #BW-FMK 119
Can't find it on line. I will put up a pic later. Tourney today.

Upon further investigation, the TH Marine Trol Tamer was previously called Trol Lok
So, looks like the top Model number is correct, and disregard the bottom number.
Still couldn't hurt to call them and make sure you're getting the right one.

Thank you for your help! The one that screws into the bounce buster was what I was looking for but couldn't find it either. I emailed them already and the only thing the tech said was to move the whole trolling motor mount. I may try calling this week.

Now that I think about it, I did see a couple on ebay back when this thread started, but they were for walleye boats. Not sure if they'd of worked anyway, but maybe so. I just figured they were too long.

I have the same setup with the ultrex but when i measure from the bounce buster to the floor it's 9" the specs says 5-8" just wondering what yours was.? Thanks

My Phoenix is in for some minor warranty work. Even tho it's a small job, it's gonna be awhile before it's back. If you still want to know in a few weeks to a month, I will check for you.
Then again, haus can measure his for you...maybe?
