C. Bailey Foil on a 201

Hey have any of you guys run one of these foils on your 201 pro xl? What was your results? I just ordered one so I'm curious.

I was running a 26p fury 4 but couldn't get up out the hole with full load. Light to moderate load it was awesome but could only turn 5500 rpms WOT. Traded for a new fury 25p 3 blade an went from 69 mph loaded to 73 mph loaded. once I added water to livewells the holeshot of the 25 fury went to crap. so I'm gonna try one of the foils and see if this helps. If this does what the reviews say it does I cant wait to run it! Id like to get another fury 4 in a 25p to get that good mid range and lift back. The fury just don't lift the boat.

I had a Brian's foil same design and was running a 28 raker with my evinrude. It helped holes hit and staying on plane. Haven't had the courage to drill my new merc

I don't know if I would just yet. I read some post that guys were saying it voids mercury lower unit warranty. Might want to check on it before you do. I can't wait to try it. I got Yamaha and vmax engraved on it as well for style lol

New Razor XL prop put on last week Im getting 75mph @5900RPM's.

I've had one on mine for almost 2 years. Performs great. Helped with hole shot and low speed on plane. Seems more stable at high speed too.
