No downscan at bow.

So I am missing something. I bought the HDI transducer to attach to the hds gen3 at the bow.

sonar reads great. But no downscan. That was the whole reason. When I connected it the cable only fits on the sonar plug so I kind of expected this behavior as I expected something to plug into StructureScan plug on the unit.

what am I doing wrong?

Did you select the correct transducer in the setup menu?

The HDI transducer plugs into the sonar side and will give di. Make sure you select the correct transducer, then on pages select structure. Sometimes , once the structure screen shows, you select down under view.

That is what i did wrong! Thanks! Changed transducer in setup and wow it works!
