    Trailer lights

    I recently purchased a set of led trailer lights,and I know the white is the ground.But mine came with the ground ring,however near the ground ring is a short piece of white wire about three inches long.Not quite sure what it's for?any one have an answer?

    you have a picture?

    there should be 3 wires. Brake lights - running lights - ground

    I forgot that the package had a "try me" button. This was attached to a battery.
