Hey guys i bought a newer style perko lock for my boat. Its the recessed one RL-1-DP model if that helps. When i was going to install it i took it apart to far. There is a spring that popped out and i cant figure out where it goes back into. There is a little white piece of plastic in there also. The white piece of plastic has a hole in it I tried putting spring in there but spring was too big. The lock doent work now. lol
I got the old ones, and never ever took those apart .. o I dunno about the newer style.. may just have to do another one and try but change the way did the 1st one.. may get lucky on the 2nd?
Yea i took it apart to far. Almost down to the molecular level. Who needs instructions?
Post some pics of the parts. I have taken a few apart. I believe the spring is for the detent pin but I'd have to see the parts laid out.
