    Power pole whoops

I made the mistake of backing in the garage power poles up. Pretty sure it bent one bracket and knocked the line loose from the pump made a mess... Hoping all it did was bend the bracket and not the pole arm itself... It just barely touched the bottom of the door facing... Didn't break the knuckle... Talk about feeling like an idiot...I was and am not happy with myself over that lil mistake...

Yikes. Makes me think of the time I looked in my side mirror and saw a gas pump line dragging along.

For the power poles I put on the tilt brackets as it made the job a lot easier.

Sorry to hear of your close call.

This is one reason why we designed and manufacture the tilt bracket. We currently have them in stock as well.

Yeah but see even if I had a tilt bracket yesterday I wouldn't have thought about it cause I got into a hurry and just forgot... Happens sometimes.. Now that I've done it I'm sure it's burned into my memory so maybe I won't do it again..

Bracket wasn't bent it was twisted and t can't see a way to fix it, now I have bled the system and the one pole in question is weaker than the other... Reckon I didn't get all the air out of the line or is there another trick that I'm not getting here?

Can you get a 50" pipe wrench on it to twist it back?

I had had my blades down but, starboard side stuck up a bit, yeah I wrenched my blade into the door frame and it wasn't pretty but no damage to the door of blade, caught it just in time. That was this week as well. I have also forgot to put them up while pushing the boat back by hand and slammed them into the wall. Haha no damage there either. Damn good durability.

Can't help with your issue though sorry.

Ps when I was 16 I swooped into a family friends home for bel getting a ball installed on a receiver. Guy comes out with a "little pipe wrench" 72" long.

I tried the largest wrench I had and couldn't budget it... It's twisted in an odd location... On a short bend...

Can you get the new style hoses without the compression fittings for a '15 year model setup?

If you can figure a way to limp it along until you can get the retrofit kit for the new hoses onto your pump then do it. The new ones with pre-crimped connectors are a significant improvement. I haven't heard of the ETA on the hose retrofit kit, but Kevin would hear long before I did anyways :)

I got the hoses hooked back up just fine... The port side is just a bit spongy for some reason.. No air in the line, I've cycled thru per the specs and this website...it may just be the way it is now... Once it hits the floor it is a little weaker but I'd you hold it down a second it tightens up...I don't know any other way to explain it..

Take it out in some deep water and fully deploy and raise up do it about 10 to 15 times.

The phone app worked from my truck, no need for tilt brackets with PPs. But still does not resolve forgetting, same with tilt brackets.

I still haven't put my garage door opener up on my shop so I really have no excuse.. I have to get out and go open the door.. routine is open the door, turn on lights, let engine and poles down. But now I've got it ingrained in my head so maybe I'll bit do it again...

I think the main pivot point was weakened a little so that's why it feels the way it does... There is no air in the system now as the water deployment seemed to have fixed that. But it still feels a little weaker...
