My new guide boat is ready !

I have been waiting for this day to come for a while. The boys at the dealership keep sending me pictures trying to make my wait unbearable . The new RT198p is ready and will be picked up tomorrow.

It will be a good start the 2017 guide season and can t wait to say some giant Ontario bass!

Your trolling motor should have a nickname. Shaft.

That windshield was not supposed be so big. A buddy of mine bought the same boat and I liked the setup so I ordered the same mounts. Never realized he had tilt steering so was able to drop the bracket lower. Luckily I am tall and it should work out. If not I will figure something else.

I'd put a pup tent on front deck and snooze , and fish n snooze a few times , pic nic when hungry and just hang in till motor broke in. get it over with other words besides I'd spray the carpet and seats with 3M scotch guard. before using.. spilt drinks wipe up easy

Like the flip up mid seat! wished my old boat had a space for it. got 2 barrel chairs and no room between... maybe some day seabass will measure the width from bottom seat across, and post? maybe by then I'll measure my space.. Be a nice up grade..and can always store the orbitals up in rafter of shed .. Then I'd have seats for 3 .. already the ability for 3 to fish, and sit in fishing chairs.. his looks like already a hand hold mounted on trailer.. nice and clean layout

Good luck with your new Ranger. I haven't had my new 198P in the water as yet, waiting for the hull numbers from Iguana Grafix. My first trip will be to North Hero Vt. next week for a month fishing lake Champlain. I wish I had the time to upgrade my electronics similar to what you have on yours.

Very nice rig. For a guide boat the first thing
I would do is remove the center seat and replace it
w/a solid platform. That spongy seatback is an accident
waiting to happen. It just makes for an unsafe step down.
Although its designed to be stepped on, it will eventually
be destroyed w/more than casual use. LDS

Seems to me a guide boat would need the extra seating.
