Over on my lake the scum lines show up during the summer and get washed off pretty regular . In the winter hardly any scum lines but I still apply a little elbow grease to her when needed ..

A little slick mist on the underwear helps with scum line buildup also ..

After every time I use it, Don't take that long. Have done it on every boat that I have owned, previous bass boats and ski boats. Keeps them looking NEW.
Quick soap and water and wax as you dry after each trip if I have time. never go more than a few trips without washing it. That red is just too purty to leave dirty.
Mine gets backed into the driveway, motor lowered, motor flushed for a minimum of 10 min, boat, motor and trailer gets hand washed, hand dried and then backed in the garage. Once in the garage, I plug in the battery charger and then I vacuum the entire boat and usually every two trips it gets waxed. Mine is three years old, used at least 24-30 times a year, still looks new.
What kind of wax do you guys use? Is a quality car wax okay to use?
My boat is tin but painted black so it pretty much shows everything, I use spray wax each time.

Lol! In all honesty, the entire process takes about thirty minutes. While the motor is being flushed, I clean out the front live well (which I have used as an onboard cooler since day one) and clean up any used soft plastics and any fishing line. It's just a priority of mine to keep her looking great.
Magic eraser takes the scum line off. Wash it whenever it looks bad.
I spray mine with slick mist every time off the water and just wipe it down right in the parking lot like I used to w8th my glass boat. Probably wash it a few times a year. I vacuum almost every time too.
