Talon- Z lock jackplate installation

I have a 10 inch Z lock manual jackplate, curious how the Talon bracket mounts to this. Does it require sandwiching the bracket to the existing jackplate adjustment bolts or does it use separate bolts to a bare area of the jackplate?

On my 6" ZLock I removed the existing bolts on the side of the jackplate and replaced them with longer bolts. If my memory is correct the sidemount bracket comes with 4 new bolts but the ZLock has 6 bolts. I remember going to Fastenal store and buying two more stainless bolts if my memory is correct. It's been three years since I installed mine and I remember it was not that hard but its does seems like I came up two bolts short for some reason.
