LSS2 transducer placement on my '11 Z7

I made this same post on the Lowrance forum. I am putting it here doubling my chances for some feedback to point me in the right direction. I have a 2011 Nitro Z7. I just bought a Lowrance HDS7 Gen2 unit with the LSS2 TotalScan and the 83/200 downscan transducers. I have read that the placement of the LSS2 is critical to proper function. Where should this be mounted on my boat? As for the downscan, where is the best place for that one? I look forward to your advice. Thank you.

I believe your downscan image will originate via the LSS ducer, or total scan. I have alos heard this but have not had an issue mounting my lss2 to my JP.
