Took yesterday off from work with a buddy and went to Ticonderoga on lake champlain. We had a 20-30mph NNW wind which is a big deal on champlain. When we launched and were idling out to warm up the motor getting ready to run north, we had several waves swamp my bow and flood the deck. I couldn't get the go pro to work on the run up (which was the roughest) but after some hours fishing in one of my calmer area's, I got the go pro to work on the run down south. The video doesn't do it justice how rough it actually was out there. Its rather deceiving actually. Anyways, every time I get the 203 in rough water I become more impressed with it. Its nice to not be sore with anything other then sore feet and legs from standing/battling the waves all day. In the video we ran a consistent 50-60mph and at the end got up to 68.5mph. I think the Talon weight on the back even helped the rough water ride.
and better yet, fishing was awesome as we boated over 35 fish.
