Has anyone installed an aftermarket recessed foot pedal in an NX882 that came with the factory recess? I want to potentially upgrade to a Minn Kota trolling motor but the foot pedal base is too wide for my current recess.

I have (never) installed one, but I have seen 2 different 882's with aftermarket recess.

Was there anything particular about the install you had to adjust due to the new recess? Were you able to install without modifying the front plastic console?

But the boats, that saw looked pretty good as far as the plastic. They did have to trim the plastic.
