The one we sank next to a ship channel in Tampa Bay, was old enough it didn't have any flotation, so my brother just hacked a hole with an ax and went down with the ship.

I made a mistake putting about 5 .22 holes in one of my grandpas old 12ft John boats when I was like 14 and at the time thought it was a great idea to sink it in the pond so he wouldn't find it. My cousin and I hacked holes with a hatchet the size of basket balls and it wouldn't sink then figured out that the bench seats were filled with foam. So we hacked them open dumped gas in it and lit on fire till it was all melt or burnt then it sank like a rock. And yes I have confessed this to my grandfather years later lol
I could have went my entire life without seeing that pic...........3 times!

Put my ex wife in where the gas tank was and I'll help you sink it.

Far better structure to be sinking vs a boat. (i.e. xmas trees and/or diy pvc structures etc).
Sure hope your not considering surreptitiously sinking a boat in a public lake/river.

You all been trolled. Notice how the OP hasn't responded since he cast his lure?
No trolling was asking a serious question. Got a boat with a busted hull. It would make a great fish attractior with some pvc pipe added to it and also a great piece of cover to set up your side and down scan. Some great post but done that were to helpful. With no gas or anything else to hurt the water don't see a problem ,
And just like that he shows up.
A guy did it here took everything out of it cut hole in the deck and floor carried it out to a ledge and took a 3" hole saw on a cordless and drilled 2 or 3 holes in it pulled the plug and it sank

i've thought about sort of making a boat out of plywood. Caulking the joints just so it will last long enough to pull it out to its resting spot. Basically fill it full of everything, trees, weights etc. and pull it out and drill a hole in it.
Like this but bigger.
Did this last week.
